The attention of the House is drawn as regards the proposed and ongoing development around Toyyar lake known for its ecosystem and bio-diversity and hence this wetland ecosystem needs to be maintained. The people of Chimbel and especially the ST community needs to be informed of the steps taken to protect and preserve this eco-system and whether the development curtails road widening and demolition of houses. The steps the Government has taken to bring clarity and to preserve ecosystem in this regard.”

The steel of the ceiling and walls are exposed; and massive cracks and water leakage can be seen. If left unattended, the structure may collapse at any time.
