“This House strongly recommends the Government to take immediate steps to revive the de-funct Communidades in South Goa. Communidade is a rich legacy of Goa and has to be preserved to safeguard our land and to stop illegal encroachments. The communidades which have not had any meetings or do not have a functioning committee should be assigned to a designated Administrative Officer and the same should be revived immediately.”

“This House strongly recommends the Government to name one of the stands at Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium at Fatorda in honour of former Sports Minister Shri Francisco Monte Cruz, as he had put in lot of efforts to ensure that the stadium is completed in a record period of six months time and was opened in the year 1989 to host the prestigious Nehru Gold Cup, the 1st International Football Tournament in Goa and after which the Stadium could host various National and International Football and Cricket matches. It was only due to his efforts with personal supervision, timely effective decisions and motivation to the team involved in the construction work, which has yielded positive results and has helped the Sports Fraternity immensely”.

*WILL the Minister for Factories and Boilers be pleased to state:


 (a) the details of the list of Industrial accidents that occurred in the State during the last five years with name and address of the Industrial units where the accident took place;  the name and address of each victim of these accidents; the amount of compensation paid to each victim with their names and addresses, whether any action is taken against the negligent Industrial units;
(b) whether any action is initiated against persons other than factory occupiers against whom criminal action has been initiated with details of respective criminal action and present status of each action;
(c) the detailed list of factories in the State with their names and addresses against whom action has been initiated for violating provisions of Factories Act, for the last five years thereby disclosing each provisions of Factories Act, under which the said action has been initiated with present status of action initiated; and
(d) whether any factory owner/occupier has been punished/fined for violating the provisions of the Factories Act, with the list of provisions under which they are punished/fined and the amount of fine imposed on them?

Whether any factory owner/ occupier has been punished/ fined for violating the provisions of the Factories Act, with the list of provisions under which they are punished/ fined and the amount of fine imposed on them?

(a) the details of shelter homes in the State for stray animals such as cattle’s/dogs/cats/birds etc.; the taluka-wise details of the total number of mobile animal care vehicles operational in the State;
(b) the taluka-wise details of number of Veterinary Hospital /Clinics operational in the State; furnish details of Veterinary Doctors and other staff working under the Department;
(c) the year-wise details of the numbers of stray animals that were caught and sent to shelter homes from the year 2020 till date separately;

(c) the details of the number of applications seeking grants to organize various programmes rejected by the Government from 2020 till date with details such as name and address of the applicant, amount of grants requested of each year separately; the details of the beneficiaries of grants of organizing cultural programmes who have not submitted Utilization Certificate from 2020 till date; 
(d) whether any action is taken against all those who have not submitted the Utilization Certificate within the stipulated time; and 
(e) if so, furnish details of the Action Taken Report, if not, the reasons for not taking any action?

  1. furnish the number of plots/ Properties/Hotels owned by the Department/GTDC that have been leased to other parties between 01-01-2020 till date; furnish details of revenue/income received by the Department/GTDC from these Plots/Properties/Hotels;
  2. furnish details such as name of Plot/ Property/Hotel, location, total area/built-up area/date of lease/ amount of lease per year, name and address of the party/Directors for each year, name and address of the party/Directors/partners of the firm/Company to whom it is leased year-wise; the amount received by the Tourism Department/GTDC against each plot/property/Hotel leased, purpose of lease, number of years of lease;
  3. furnish details of advertisement asking for bids/for leasing the property, number of bids received, comparative statement, minutes of the Tender Scrutiny Committee recommending highest bidder, names of members of such Committee; and
  4. the approval of the minutes by the Board/Director/M.D. furnish copies of file notings, approval of Finance Department and copy of file notings?

051 - BEACH SAFETY AND LIFE GUARDING SERVICES

WILL the Minister for Tourism be pleased to state:

  1. the details of drowning cases reported from the year 2020 till date on the beaches and other water bodies of Goa where the services of Contractor for providing Beach Safety and Lifeguarding services is provided;
  2. furnish details with list of various equipment\'s, vehicles, boats, tools, safety gears and other items required to be provided by the Contractor as per tender specifications, with name of the item, manufacturing date, date of purchase, expiry date if any, warranty period and other technical details; and
  3. the details of the Monitoring Team, to monitor the items required to be made available/provided by the contractor, methodology of monitoring, names of the persons with qualifications, designation, in the Monitoring team, reports of the Monitoring team be furnished?
