“This House recommends the Government to constitute a Goa State Commission on climate resilience and water security to study the impact of climate change on Goa’s water resources, coastlines, agriculture and bio-diversity and to formulate a comprehensive long- term strategy for water conservation, flood management and ecological sustainability.”

“This House unanimously resolves to urge the Government to carry out a survey of trees posing threat to the dwelling houses, multi-dwelling residential buildings, Government buildings and other infrastructure such as electric wires, etc. and cutting the same in public interest by way of fresh legislation.”

“This House strongly recommends the Government to take immediate steps to revive the de-funct Communidades in South Goa. Communidade is a rich legacy of Goa and has to be preserved to safeguard our land and to stop illegal encroachments. The communidades which have not had any meetings or do not have a functioning committee should be assigned to a designated Administrative Officer and the same should be revived immediately.”

 S/SHRI DIGAMBAR KAMAT, ALEIXO REGINALDO LOURENCO, MLAs AND PRATAPSINGH RANE, LEADER OF OPPOSITION moved the following:

 “This House unanimously resolves that sufficient funds in the form of grants be made available to the aided Schools for construction of compound wall and providing C.C.T.V. in the School premises in order to provide security to the children in view of the increase in the crime against School children.”

“Fear and anxiety in the minds of the people of Margao with regards to sewerage chambers overflowing at various locations creating health hazards and obnoxious smell. The steps the Government intends to undertake in this regard."

“ Fear and anxiety in the minds of the people of Goa on rising criminal activities in Goa. The recent four murders including one double murder in a span of four days has raised serious concerns on the complete collapse on law and order in the State. The steps the Government to take in the matter

"Fear and Anxiety in the minds of the People of Goa whether time-bound recruitment is being carried out in the Police force  and whether the same is carried out in a transparent and meritorious manner so that performance of Police force is enhanced to curb rapidly increasing crime rate and providing security for all especially  for Senior citizens and also to maintain Law and Order in the State. The steps the Government to take in the matter".

Fear and Anxiety in the minds of the public at large regarding the attempts by the Government to legalise production of Cannabis in the State of Goa, which is being used as Narcotic Drug and banned under Narcotic Substance Law.  The decision of the Government will convert Goa into a Drug Destination

To call the attention of the House as regards apprehension in the minds of Senior Citizens that when they go to bring ration, their finger impression donot get registered in the machines. The steps the Government has taken in this regard.

Apprehensions in the mind of people of Margao about opening of Rent a Cab offices at various places in residential areas thereby creating serious law and order problems. Minister for Transport to take immediate action in this matter.

“Fear and Apprehension in the minds of the people about non-availability of Security Guards at Cabo De Rama Fort. This Fort is of Architectural and heritage importance needs to be protected and necessary security and needs to be deployed.”

“Apprehension in the minds of local artists about failure of the Government to provide financial assistance/grants during annual festivals of touristic importance. The Department needs to promote local artists to preserve the cultural Heritage of Goa.”

Shri Digambar Kamat, MLA made a mention about the bad conditions of surface of three and two wheeler footbridge near KRC station, near station road and near railway gate thereby creating hurdles/difficulties to scooterists and causing danger to their life.

SHRI RAMKRISHNA DHAVALIKAR, Minister for PWD replied to the mention.
