Ministers Reply 160.25 KBSHRI CLAFASIO DIAS, MLA made a mention about fear and anxiety in the minds of the people of Mulem-Paroda regarding illegal land filling in Survey No. 100/1 at Curpem, Agramod in Mulem village, thus causing danger to the lives of three families residing in old mud houses because of flooding of rain water in their houses due to the said illegal land filling. The measures the Government will take in the matter.

| (a) whether the Government is aware that there is low water pressure in most parts of Cuncolim Constituency causing problems of irregular water supply to the people; | Sir, Majority areas of Cuncolim Constituency are supplied water on 24hrs basis. The supply levels are more than 150 LPCD upto 200 LPCD as against stipulated 70 LPCD for rural areas and 135 LPCD for urban areas. Only few pockets of Cuncolim Constituency located at a higher elevation face low water pressure problems during day time in summer season. However there is no water shortage.

| (b) the reason for the low water pressure; and | Sir, Due to excessive consumption by the general public on account of summer season and additional usage for gardening purpose etc.
