(1) SHRI FRANCISCO SILVEIRA, MLA moved the following:
“This House unanimously resolves to renovate and upgrade the Rural
Health Centre, Mandur to provide better medical facilities both to the in
and out-patients with well equipped with modern medical amenities to
provide better treatment to the people of Azossim, Mandur, Dongrim,
Neura and neighbouring villages.”

Shri Vishwajit Rane, Minister for Health replied to the points raised by
the mover.
The resolution was withdrawn by the leave of the House

SHRI FRANCISCO SILVEIRA, MLA to move the following:
“This House unanimously resolves to construct a new Chapel in honour of Our Lady of Vallankanni in the campus of Goa Medical College Hospital,Bambolim in order to provide a place of worship and prayer to the devotees,as demanded by the staff and in-patients of G.M.C. Hospital.”
The Resolution was not taken for discussion as the Member concerned was not present in the House.

Fear and anxiety the minds of people of Pilar, Agassaim, Neura, Mandur, Dongrium, Azossim, Carambolim and Old Goa over the widening of MDR –I with a width of 25 mts being vehemently opposed by the people of the area needs to be denotified as it will lead to the destruction of hundreds of houses and thousands of people will have to be rehabilated.
