PRIVATE MEMBERS’ RESOLUTIONS

SHRI DILIP PARULEKAR moved the following:

“This House unanimously resolves that the Government initiate necessary steps to set up 50 MLD Water Treatment Plant next to National Highway at Guirim in order to solve permanently the water problem of the residents of Porvorim which is located at the end point.”

“This House unanimously resolves that Government take up on priority
the beautification and development of Pokhurli pond on priority in
Village Panchayat Guirim at Bardez under WRD fund.”

(2) SHRI DILIP PARULEKAR, MLA moved the following:

“This House unanimously resolves that Government to take up the
construction of Football ground at Saligao on priority as per the Settlement
Zone shown in the Regional Plan.”

SHRI DILIP PARULEKAR spoke on the Resolutin.

SHRI MANOHAR AZGAONKAR, Minister for Sports replied to the points
raised by the mover.

The Resolution was withdrawn by the leave of the House.

CALLING ATTENTION

SHRI DILIP PARULEKAR, MLA called the attention of the Minister for
Rural Development to the following:
 
 “Fear and anxiety in the minds of the people residing in the vicinity of
Village Panchayat Saligao in particular due to structure of the Village
Panachayat market building being declared unsafe as frame structure
including beams, slabs has developed cracks in terms of the report of

 PWD in the year February, 2004 and the inaction of the Government to
take up the construction work immediately of the said market through
DRDA, North putting lives of the people in danger if any untoward
incident takes place.”

 SHRI DILIP PARULEKAR, MLA called the attention of the
 Minister for Revenue to the following:
“Apprehension and anxiety in the minds of people of Nagoa, Hadfade,
Goa about illegal constructions being carried out in one of the
agricultural fields bearing survey number 49 and inefficiency of the
Government to take prompt action to stop the said illegal constructions
in spite of its stoppage by flying squads which has again restarted.”

       Shri Digambar Kamat, Chief Minister made a statement in regard to:-
       Shri Dilip Parulekar, MLA sought clarification.

CONGRATULATORY MOTION

SHRI DILIP PARULEKAR, MLA moved the following:

“This House congratulates Miss Genevieve Atala D’Costa from Saligao for winning two gold and one bronze medal in high board and spring board diving at the 27th Sub-Junior National Aquatic meet held at Bangalore. She was also judged the best diver in girls group III, bringing laurels to the State of Goa.”

 incidence of beating a women by sticks on the head of Smt. Ramavati
 Gadekar, aged 60 years from Kumya Marad, Guirm by Guirim
 Panchayat Member Shri Digambar Harmalkar seriously injuring her
 and who is presently admitted in Asilo Hospital.

 SHRI RAVI NAIK, Minister for Home replied to the mention.

encroachment of trawlers of neighboring States within the limits of Goa coast

water."
