PRIVATE MEMBERS’ RESOLUTIONS

(5) SHRI VASUDEV GAONKAR, MLA moved the following:

“This House unanimously resolves that Government to take up the
construction of new building for Agriculture Office at Sanguem at a
appropriate place for the convenience of the public as the present building
being in dilapidated condition and also there is no space for various
activities.”

SHRI VASUDEV GAONKAR, spoke on the Resolution.
SHRI DIGAMBAR KAMAT, Chief Minister replied to the points raised by
the mover.
The Resolution was withdrawn by the leave of the House.

Thirteenth Session 2011

CALLING ATTENTION

SHRI VASUDEV GAONKAR, MLA called the attention of Minister for PWD to the following:

“Fear and apprehension in the minds of villagers of Kalay in Sanguem Taluka that they have to cross railway line in rainy season causing danger to the life of residents, students. Recently, a girl student was killed at Comba, margao while crossing railway line. The demand of the villagers is therefore to construct a railway over bridge on priority which will also benefit the villagers of Kallem as also Mollem, Sancorda and Dabal to go to Sanguem and other places. The Goa Government needs to contribute 50% of the total cost for constructing the bridge as railways are willing to contribute 50%.”

SHRI CHURCHILL ALEMAO, Minister for PWD made a statement in regard thereto.     

SHRI VASUDEV GAONKAR sought clarification.

SHRI VASUDEV GAONKAR, MLA made a mention about the apprehension in the minds of Villagers of Mangal in Village Panchayat Cavre, Pirla about non completion of the major portion of the road leading to the Village for many years due to non granting of NOC by the Forest Department, causing lot of hardship to the villagers.

SHRI FILIPE NERY RODRIGUES, Minister for Forest replied to the mention.
