Further, the department intends to introduce Smart Meters forcing every consumer to pay without reason, The Government should re-examine both the issues as the government can meet the revenue deficits through alternative means and the Smart Meter installation charge is avoidable and unnecessary. environmental fabric of rural Goa. THEREFORE, THIS HOUSE RESOLVES THAT:

I rise to highlight a pressing issue regarding the statutory requirement for forming the Minority Commission in Goa, despite its importance, this commission remains absent.
The Formation of a Minority Commission is a statutory requirement to safe guard the rights and interest of Minority Communities. The absent of this Commission leaves Minority Communities without a dedicated platform for addressing their concerns I urge the Government to immediately form the Minority Commission as per statutory requirements. Ensure the Commission role in protecting and promoting the Welfare of Minority Communities.
