Marathi and Portuguese Primary, SSC, Diplomas of J. J. School of Art; initially member of the NCG, then joined&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;nbsp; the Rashtra Seva Dal and later on was a member of the PSP; participated in the &amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;lsquo;Prabhatferi&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;rsquo; at Panjim in 1946; was arrested, clean-shaven and then released; offered Satyagraha at Kankumbi border; from 1947 to 1961 participated in the underground nationalist activities; was arrested while coming to Goa to celebrate the &amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;lsquo;Terekhol Day&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;rsquo; alongwith Narcinva&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;nbsp; Hedge Desai and Guni Jambaulikar; was physically tortured, persecuted and detained in jail for 27 days; was elected as MLA to the Goa Assembly from Quepem constituency in 1965; was Deputy Speaker in 1970-71; strived for setting up Elementary and Intermediate Grade Art Examination Centres in Goa through J.J. School of Art; Occup: Art and crafts teacher.&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;nbsp; &amp;amp;amp;amp;lt;/strong&amp;amp;amp;amp;gt;&amp;amp;amp;amp;lt;/p&amp;amp;amp;amp;gt;&amp;amp;amp;lt;/p&amp;amp;amp;gt;&amp;amp;lt;/p&amp;amp;gt;&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;</p>
