Calling Attention

Fear and anxiety in the minds of people of Mulgao Village of Bicholim Taluka, that there is a proposed project of road widening at a stretch of approximately 9.00 KM from Assonora –Mulgao Bridge to Shantadurga high school in Bicholim. The existing road width here is 7.00 mts to 15.00 mts where as proposed road width is 25.00 mts to 30.00 mts, due to which more than 500 people and 50 to 60 houses will be demolished as and when the proposed bypass road passes village of Mulgao as per Regional plan 2021.The steps the govt. intents to take in this matter.

Calling Attention

“Fear in the minds of the people that serious patients especially who suffer from heart problems from Mayem and surrounding areas have died due to delay in reaching GMC as 108 Ambulance is not permitted to cross the Chandor-Ribandar ferry as per the rules/guidelines/instructions issued by the Health Department that patients should be taken first to PHC, Bicholim, then to District Hospital, Mapusa and then to GMC. Steps the Government will take to withdraw the Circular issued to 108 Ambulance immediately and shift the serious patients from Mayem and surrounding areas to well-equipped GMC for heart patients by using the ferry services and save their lives”.

Calling Attention

There is fear and anxiety in the minds of people of Gaonkarwada and Manasbag of Village Panchayat Mulgao-Bicholim as the Contractor of Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation as failed to complete the work of Repair and Renovation of Govt. Primary School at the above places and so there is inconvenience and hardship caused to the students.  The classes of Gaonkarwada Govt. Primary School are currently being taken in one of the room of V.P.Mulgao building and students of Manasbag School are studying in one of the house of Manasbag-Mulgao.  What action/urgent step the Govt. wants to take.  The roofs of above Schools are kept open and so there is possibility of collapsing of school structure
