2. Shri Syed Hyder Raza, internationally acclaimed painter  and artist, awarded  with Padmashri, Padmabhushan, Lalit  Kala  Academy Hon.Membership and winner of Prixde la Critique award of France, passed away on 22nd July,2016.
3.  Smt Arundhati Ghose, former Indian Ambassador to the United Nations and a greet diplomat passed away on 25th July, 2016.

    2.      Shri Vishwanath  N. Arlekar, Former State BJP Unit President, Founder Member of the Bharatiya Jansangh and RSS in Goa, freedom fighter and social worker, whose immense contribution to the welfare of the people was significant, passed away on the 15th May, 2016.
    3.      Shri Janardhan Parab, veteran Marathi actor and theatre artiste, passed away on the 2nd April, 2016.
